Menopause and perimenopause can bring a wide range of physical, emotional, and psychological changes. For many women, this is a period of transition that may involve increased anxiety, disrupted sleep, changes in confidence, emotional sensitivity, and a sense of feeling unlike themselves.
Alongside these changes, many women are managing work, family life, relationships, and ongoing responsibilities, which can make this stage of life feel particularly demanding.
At Headstrong Therapy, I offer calm, structured hypnotherapy and mindfulness-based support to help women navigate this transition with greater understanding, steadiness, and self-compassion.
Support may be helpful for women experiencing:
Support is always tailored to the individual and delivered at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
My approach combines hypnotherapy and mindfulness-informed techniques within a calm, collaborative, and non-judgemental environment.

The focus is not on “fixing” menopause, but on supporting you through the changes and challenges it may bring.
Alongside my qualifications in hypnotherapy and mindfulness, I have completed specialist training in menopause support, including hypnotherapy-based training with Kim Thomas (a member of the British Menopause Society) and additional CPD in mindfulness approaches for menopause and perimenopause.
This training has focused on the emotional, psychological, and practical impact of menopause and perimenopause, including anxiety, stress management, sleep, confidence, body image, cognitive changes such as brain fog, and the impact on relationships, work, and daily life. It also included approaches to supporting common physical symptoms such as hot flushes and night sweats.
My work is grounded in professional, ethical practice and recognises that menopause affects every woman differently. Support is always tailored to the individual and their lived experience.
Hypnotherapy and mindfulness are offered as complementary support and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you are experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, sleep difficulties, confidence changes, or emotional challenges during menopause or perimenopause, you are welcome to get in touch.
