Mindfulness offers a way of gently coming back to the present moment, especially when life feels busy, overwhelming, or emotionally demanding.
I trained with Mindfulness Now in 2022 and have since completed further CPD, including training in mindful parenting, mindfulness for children and teens, and menopause support.
Alongside this, I bring a background in education, with specialist experience supporting children with anxiety and selective mutism.
My approach is calm, practical, and grounded in emotional safety.
Mindfulness support may be helpful if you are:
Mindfulness is not about “clearing your mind” or doing things perfectly.
It is about learning how to notice what is happening — with a little more space and a little less judgement.
In sessions, I focus on:
Everything is offered at a gentle pace, with no pressure to “get it right”.
Much of my work focuses on supporting families where anxiety is present.
For children, especially those experiencing selective mutism or social anxiety, mindfulness can be adapted in very simple, non-demanding ways that support emotional safety rather than performance.
For parents, it can offer practical tools for staying regulated in moments of stress, which in turn supports calmer interactions at home.
People often find mindfulness helpful for:
Mindfulness is not about being calm all the time.
It is about building the ability to notice what is happening — and respond with a little more steadiness, when possible.
Small moments of awareness can be enough to begin with.
